Privacy Policy — 70 Days Prayer Battle

This Privacy Policy explains how Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (“we”, “us”) handles your information in the 70 Days Prayer Battle mobile app (the “App”), which is available to users worldwide. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account & sign-in. Depending on how you sign in: your mobile phone number (phone OTP), or the identifier, name and email address released by Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple (with Apple you may choose to hide your email).
• Reading progress. Which days of the programme you have marked complete and your selected reading languages, so your progress syncs across your devices.
• Purchases & entitlements. A record that you purchased or redeemed access, and the transaction reference from the payment provider. We do not collect or store your card or bank details.
• Device & technical data. A device identifier for sync and security, app version, and diagnostic/crash information (error reports that help us fix problems). Crash reports are configured to exclude your name, email, phone number, and IP address.

2. How we use your information

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To deliver the devotional content and sync your reading progress.
• To process and restore purchases and unlock your access.
• To provide support, prevent abuse/fraud, and keep the service reliable.
• To send notifications you have opted into (if you enable them).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

3. Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary with service providers who act on our behalf:

• Authentication: Google and Apple (when you use their sign-in).
• Payments: Apple App Store / Google Play (in-store purchases), and Paystack / Flutterwave (for the directly-distributed version). Payment details go to these processors, not to us.
• Infrastructure: hosting, crash/error reporting (Sentry, configured to exclude personal identifiers) and notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging) providers, bound by confidentiality.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users’ safety.

4. Data storage & security

Content and progress are stored on your device in an encrypted database, and data in transit is protected with TLS. On our servers we apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data as described below, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

6. Deleting your account and data

You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time, directly in the App: Settings → Delete account. This removes your account, reading progress, and access records. You may also request deletion by emailing info@mountainoffire.app.

7. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate protection for such transfers.

9. Your rights

The App is used globally, and we honour data-protection rights wherever you are. Depending on your location, these may include the rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent — including under the EU/UK GDPR, Nigeria’s Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023, and comparable laws elsewhere. To exercise any of these, use in-app deletion or contact us below; we respond within the timeframe your local law requires.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
